When is our warfare and what are Our Weapons of Warfare?

Many of us Christians have been wired to believe that the time of warfare is the time we go for prayers or deliverance session and that is why many of us Christians just use one or at most two weapons in our daily Christian Journey and battles.
Thus majority are left defenseless and exposed to the onslaught of the devil. The most commonly used weapon is the word of God; which is the only offensive weapon. Thus we leave ourselves exposed and that is why many Christians fall on the battle field. Our daily engagements, interactions, business activities etc. are our battle field and thus the way we live our daily lives constitute how battled prepared we are. This is because in our daily activities we must be fully kitted with the belt of truth (stand therefore having girded your loin with the truth), the chest guard of righteousness (having put on the breastplate of righteousness), the shield of faith, the helmet of salvation and the boot of the gospel (and having shod your feet with the preparation of the gospel of peace) (Ephesians 6: 13-17). It is after being fully kitted and prepared for battle that we can start launching our offensive weapon which is the word of God. It is after being fully kitted that prayer and supplication was mentioned in Ephesians 6:18. How quickly we reverse the whole order and fall victims of circumstances. Our first point of defense weapon which is the shield of faith constitutes a critical part of battle as the first point of defeat in human life (soul/spirit) is fear. That is why we need the shield of faith to quench the fiery darts of the enemy (Ephesians 6:16). Many quote the scriptures in fear, try as much as possible to live holy because of fear etc. and thus live and pray every day because of fear and those people through fear of death are living a live under bondage (Hebrews 2:15). Thus every component of battle kit is crucial to fighting a fulfilling and victorious battle. Leaving out one exposes us to the danger of being wounded and defeated.
The whole armour of a soldier as described by Paul does not take to consideration a defense gadget for the back because as a soldier, one is not expected to turn back in battle. One is either a victim or a victor. That is why Jesus said ‘whosoever lays his hand on the plow and turns back is not fit for the kingdom of God (Luke 9; 62). Those things that make Christians turn back care of the world, love of money etc. and that was why Apostle Paul warned timothy in 2Timothy 2:4 (No one serving as a soldier gets entangled in civilian affairs, but rather tries to please his commanding officer) (NIV). The things of the world which Paul illustrated as civilian matters are spoils of war and any soldiers that concern himself with the spoils of war (money, position, fame etc.) than the war itself, is already a war causality or dead. So put on the whole armour of God that you may daily win the battles against the devil and his Kingdom. You are not alone in battle because your commanding officer (Jesus) is leading the battle (2Timothy 2:3). Just follow the battle command and instructions and victory is certainly yours
Peace
